HDMI is the new standard for digital video transmission operating at 165 Mpixel/second.
HDMI supports standard, enhanced and high definition video and can be converted to DVI-D using this cable.
This cable is used to connect devices fitted with HDMI connectors (such as TV tuner cards & DVD players) with devices fitted with DVI-D connectors (such as TFT monitors and some of the LCD TVs).
As HDMI 1.2 specification type A connectors only transmit a single-link video signal this cable has a single link DVI-D connector at one end and a 19 pin type A HDMI connector at the other.
